ELABORATION<\/h5>\n

Aldeaso\u00f1a 2011 comes from three hectares of a 65 year old Tempranillo vineyard located in loamy clay soil and situated at 810 meters altitude in the municipality of La Horra
\nThe plots were harvested manually on 8th<\/sup> and 9th<\/sup> October 2011, into 15kg boxes and bunches and grapes were received onto a double selection table at the winery.
\nFermented and macerated in small cement tanks at a controlled temperature for 29 days with daily plunging of the cap and pump overs.
\nAged for 33 months in 225 litre French oak Bordeaux barrels.
\nA total of 7,509 750ml bottles were obtained with no filtering or clarification processes used in production.<\/p>\n<\/div>

METEOROLOGY<\/h5>\n

The 2011 harvest was characterised by a cold winter, with some snow, followed by abundant rainfall that left ample water reserves in the vineyards. The dry, hot summer assured exceptional plant health and good weather during the harvest allowed slow and complete ripening of the grapes. The result is an elegant and well-rounded wine with great balance and excellent potential for laying down.<\/p>\n<\/div>
