This wine is produced from Tempranillo and Aragonés grapes from vineyards located in La Horra and Baños de Valdearados with an average age of 85 years. The yield is 2,300kg per hectare.

The bunches and grapes were carefully selected at harvest and the resulting wine was aged for 17 months in new French oak barrels from different coopers.

The wine was bottled on October 2008, giving a total of 7,022 bottles (750ml) certified as Castilla y León “Vino de la Tierra.”

Grape variety: Aragonés
Vines of between 65 and 101 years old, situated at between 800 and 910 meters above sea level in soil with sand, clay and limestone content.

“Vino de la Tierra” Castilla y León

“Muscular yet graceful, this polished red features plum and currant fruit layered with loam, mineral and coffee notes over firm yet well-integrated tannins. Balanced, with good persistence on the smoky finish. Drink now through 2020. Tasted twice, with consistent notes.”
